Dr. Lovelace is an assistant professor at Duquesne University, located in Pittsburgh, PA and the founder of Legacy Educational Services, LLC. Temple's research interests are in the areas of culturally responsive practice, parental advocacy and improving student outcomes for schools in urban contexts. As the coordinator for the Fusion program, Temple spends several nights a week working with Hazelwood area students and their families. Fusion provides Pittsburgh with an academic intervention clinic and a parent advocacy group, Parent Pride.
